ALISHA PATEL

Hi, my name is Alisha Patel. I am a recent graduate from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) with a B.A. in Fashion Merchandising and Design - Fashion Design. 

Although the majority of my skills have come from fashion design, I have eagerly learned how to work in a costume design environment for both live dance and theatre. Through teamwork and communication, I am able to create or assist with creating garments that transform the atmosphere. With my strong sense of attention to detail, I hope to bring stories to life through my creations.

A lot of my work is heavily inspired by high fantasy aesthetics, and I want to make garments that make you feel like you are in a different realm. By expanding into the theatre, dance, and fiber art departments during my time at CSULB, I have learned to adapt and morph my designs to what story needs to be told.

I aim to make garments that allow individuals to live out those fantasies that may seem out of reach.
